Deedee has been working with families and holistic care since 2012 when she became an Occupational Therapist. She has dedicated her career to supporting the family unit through multiple advanced trainings such as pre and postnatal yoga, pelvic health specialities, lactation counseling, labor and postpartum doula services, and Ayurvedic postpartum support. Deedee felt holistic care starts with a web of providers that can hold a client in their entirety- hence The Family Well! Deedee is a proud mother of two beautiful children; One was birthed in the hospital and the other was birthed in a birthing center. She feels the most important thing to have in birth and motherhood is empowerment. She has worked with many families through the conception, labor and postpartum period, and feels the deepest work you can do for a loving world is to support the mother. Amanda Kaufman - Outreach Coordinator & Administrator
Amanda is a local LA artist that has over 15 years of medical administration & management experience. She is all the art to this website - check her IG out @majesticmija. She recently became a new mama herself and felt it imperative to give back to the process of bringing life, now knowing how that process isn't always easy. Her hope is to make the transition more beautiful, colorful and smooth for new families and mothers.
